About Dahlia
Sweet dainty Dahlia is on the search for her new family.
Dahlia and her siblings arrived into our care from a pound in NSW and were extremely malnourished. Although very underweight and of small stature, Dahlia is one mighty girl.
Dahlia has been in foster care with multiple dogs and pups, cats and has also been exposed to children. She is currently in foster care with a newborn baby and she is very calm around her. When interacting with cats, Dahlia shows a little bit of interest in them but respects their boundaries when they tell her off.
Dahlia is crate trained and sleeps the whole night through! Dahlia is still learning her basic obedience but can sit for her dinner.
Dahlia is a bit of a couch potato and happy to snuggle up on the couch especially if she has a nice chew toy to chew on.
Dahlia is okay being left alone but we would love for her to go to a home where there is another dog to keep her company as she loves to play and snuggle with her foster sisters on the couch.
Adoption details
Our adoption process consists of:
- An adoption application questionnaire that will be emailed upon an enquiry if we deem your enquiry is suitable for that particular animal. Please read the description of our animals before making an enquiry.
- A meet and greet to ensure yourself and any existing animals are suitable for your chosen furry friend
- A house check to ensure your property is suitable. This my include physically coming to your house, a video call or photos.
- An adoption agreement to sign upon being approved for adoption. This includes a two week trial period to allow your new pet to settle into their new home.
- Please note we are purely volunteer run so sometimes it may take up to 7 business days for the team to get back to your enquiry and we will only contact you if we believe your enquiry is suitable.
