About Flick
Flick is a 3 months old kitten who had a rocky start to life with her wild and pregnant mum being found on the side of the road battling the effects of paralysis ticks. One week later, after being saved by the vets, Flick and her 6 brothers and sisters were born. Her caring humans that found Mum couldn’t leave this new furry family behind so within hours of being born Mum and her 7 babies all came to live at their new foster home.
Flick really is just a cool cat! She has always been calm and chilled and absolutely adores her humans. She is happy in a busy house and rarely reacts to loud noises. Flick loves to play with her brothers and sisters, but if they are sleeping, she will come and see what mischief she can get up to with you. She loves to just sit and watch or try and help with whatever you are doing, often sitting by the computer to put an occasional paw on the keyboard to help with editing. Beware having any tassels or draw strings hanging from your clothes!
Flick is one of the first to come and greet you when you wake up or get home, and just loves getting up on to the couch with you to hang out, watch tv and just snooze the evening away curled up on your lap. She loves to be stroked and have an arm around her while she sleeps. Make sure you don’t take her favourite toy, the silver star, off her when she is awake. She may be known to growl and chase her much bigger brothers away for getting too close to her star or her favourite food!
Due to her easygoing personality Flick will suit all types of households.
If you are interested in adopting Flick, please email us, send us a fb message or call us on 0404 753 227. We will help organise a meet and greet in her foster home in Dee Why.
Cat accessories such as carriers, litter trays, litter scoops, food bowls, etc. are all available for purchase at SAFE Haven. All proceeds are going back to the pets waiting to find loving homes.
